Welcome to the wonderful world of Tai Chi!
Tai Chi is the ancient Chinese art of ‘moving meditation’ practiced for its health benefits for over 700 years by millions of people worldwide. The series of meditative, flowing movements are more than a relaxing exercise system for good health, vitality and longevity- Tai Chi is a holistic system designed to bring the mind, body and spirit into a state of ultimate balance. Mid North Coast Tai Chi is a Tai Chi school situated on the on the magical Mid North Coast of NSW, Australia. Its intention is to enrich the lives of students by assisting them on their journey toward health and wellbeing by utilising the principles of peace, balance and harmony.
Regular classes are held in the Nambucca Valley during NSW school terms- click here for current class times and locations. Regular classes are also held in the neighbouring Macleay Valley at our sister school, Zen Haiyang. Other activities include- workshops, training sessions, demonstrations, free park lessons, retreats, China trips, and specialised programs for community groups and organisations eg Tai Chi for Kids, Tai Chi for Seniors, Chi meditation- click here for more information.

Aside from general information about Tai Chi and Qigong, this site features a secure Student Centre for dispensing information to current students, information about Our Classes, a FAQs page, Latest News updates, RSS news feeds and photos/video clips in Photo Gallery. This site will also include a growing ‘resource centre’ for both students and teachers with medical studies/research in Research, feature articles and stories in Articles as well as a page of Links.
